Breakfast was passable, but I could have done with more continental options. I loved the thrill of cycling nearby, dodging uneven stairs and locking my room obsessively. How exciting!
Who needs a TV these days? Definitely not me.

I had a fantastic stay at this homestay with breathtaking views of Mount Batur and the surrounding area. the staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that my girlfriend and I had everything we needed. the room was clean and comfortable, with a great air conditioning system. We were also impressed with the fast WiFi connection, which we didn't expect in such a remote location. the highlight of our stay was the delicious barbecue dinner prepared by the owners, who also took the time to share stories about Balinese culture. the hospitality and atmosphere made us feel right at home. Cons: No 😊.

The views from the hotel were absolutely breathtaking, with a stunning panorama of the mountains, lava flows, and lake. It was a sight to behold, especially in the early morning when you could see the flickering torches of trekkers on the mountain. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. the rooms were clean and comfortable, with a good air conditioning system.
The options were limited and the taste fell short of expectations. Another drawback was the poor WiFi connection at times, which made it difficult to stay connected.

We had an amazing stay at Batur View Homestay. The view from our balcony was breathtaking, overlooking the majestic Batur Mountain. The owners were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The hot tea and chocolate cakes they welcomed us with were a delightful touch. The room was clean, and we were pleasantly surprised to have hot water in the bathroom, which can be rare in Bali. The location was also convenient, with a beautiful restaurant nearby that didn't overcharge tourists. I highly recommend this homestay for a memorable and enjoyable experience.

We stayed at Batur View Homestay for a few nights to go on a sunrise Batur climb. The location was superb, offering uninterrupted views of the volcano and lake. The staff were super friendly and helped us arrange the climb. They even woke us up at 3am with hot banana pancakes and tea. The rooms were comfortable with amazing views over the crater, and the included breakfast of pancakes and coffee was adequate. The restaurant served delicious lake fish from their family fish farm. Highly recommended!
Would recommend this hotel.
